- Why does copied text have weird line breaks?
- PDFs, emails, and some websites insert a line break at the end of every visible line, not just at real paragraph ends. When you paste that into a document or chat, sentences get chopped in half. This tool joins them back into flowing paragraphs.
- Which mode should I use?
- For pasted PDFs, articles, or emails, use 'Unwrap lines, keep paragraphs' — it fixes broken sentences while keeping real paragraph breaks. Use 'Collapse to single line' for CSV values or single-cell text. Use 'Remove all line breaks' when you need a run-on string.
- Does it also fix double spaces and weird characters?
- Runs of spaces are collapsed to one when line breaks are removed, so you don't end up with awkward ' ' gaps. Real characters (emoji, accented letters, code) are preserved as-is.
- Is my text uploaded?
- No. Every operation runs inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or stored.
