What's the difference between a dead pixel and a stuck pixel?
A dead pixel stays completely black because it receives no power — it looks like a tiny black dot on any color. A stuck pixel is permanently lit in one color (red, green, blue, or white) because one or more of its subpixels are frozen on. Stuck pixels can sometimes be recovered; dead pixels almost never can.
How do I use this dead pixel test?
Click Fullscreen, then cycle through each solid color. Look closely for any dot that doesn't match the background — a bright dot on a black screen, a dark dot on a white screen, or a wrong-colored dot on red/green/blue. Move your face close and check every corner.
